Danielle’s practice focuses on representing local and regional government clients. Danielle advises clients on matters related to employment law, public procurement, contracts, land use and compliance with the Freedom of Information Act.
Prior to joining the firm, Danielle served as an Assistant City Attorney in Virginia for three years. As Assistant City Attorney, Danielle advised City Council, the City Manager, and Department Heads. Danielle also attended Court on behalf of the City to enforce code compliance issues and other civil matters. She was also the designated FOIA Officer for the City and assisted in the removal of blighted areas within the City. During law school, she clerked for the Honorable Henry E. Hudson for the United States District Court for Eastern District Virginia and interned for a private firm in Newport News. After graduation, she clerked for the Honorable Pamela S. Baskervill and the Honorable James F. D'Alton in the Petersburg Circuit Court.
