Stan Tretiak began with HWG in 2015. Although Stan is not an attorney, he is a veteran government affairs professional with more than 30 years of political advocacy in Virginia. He established and served as Principal of The Tretiak Group, a Richmond based public policy solutions company focusing on the mid-Atlantic U.S. and Puerto Rico. Prior to forming The Tretiak Group in 2009, Stan enjoyed a long career as Government Affairs Director - Eastern Region/Puerto Rico for Coors Brewing Company, where he directed its east coast governmental and regulatory affairs. Stan managed 18 U.S. jurisdictions – from South Carolina to Maine, as well as the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. His career at Coors included working with the brewery, its 500-plus independent distributors and its subsidiary operations to include Molson Coors Brewing Co., Coors Energy Co, ACX Technologies, Coors Transportation, Unibev and multiple satellite warehouse operations and spanned more than 20 years in a variety of government affairs capacities.
